Understanding Unsold Flats in Hyderabad
Of the total unsold inventory, only 29,586 units, or 21%, were ready or expected to be completed in 2026. The remaining 79% consists of projects scheduled for completion from 2027 onward.
This means much of the inventory represents future housing supply rather than completed flats lying vacant.
Why Hyderabad Remains Attractive
Hyderabad continues to attract buyers and investors due to its growing IT, pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors, improving infrastructure and expanding employment hubs. Metro connectivity, ring roads and emerging residential corridors are also supporting demand.
Overally, Hyderabad’s market is becoming more selective, with buyers focusing on location, pricing, connectivity, quality and developer reputation. Despite the presence of unsold flats, strong sales and long-term economic growth indicate that Hyderabad remains a promising residential real estate market.
